Live In Carers Duties include:
- Alzheimer’s’ and Dementia care
- Making appointments to General Practitioners and all health professionals
- Bathing and personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and appearance
- Changing and washing bedding
- Wake up and tuck in care
- Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and planning
- Companionship and conversation
- Holiday companionship
- Home safety
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Medication prompting and reminding
- Motion exercises eg walking and mobility assistance, reading to care recipient
- Reporting the day to day to the family
- Bill payment and writing
- Community reintegration eg lunches, bingo, day centres etc
